SVP abstracts-discussions question

What is the proper etiquette concerning questions about an abstract for
the upcoming SVP?

In particular I'm wondering if I can ask what something is referring to
(terminology usually) in abstracts in this current JVP.  

Is this kosher since they're 'published' or do I have to wait till the
poster/speech for them to be 'published' so I can ask about them?
