Wanted: EC info from OZ
I'm in the process of compiling a list of EC non-dinosaurian
fossils from Victoria, Australia. At the moment I have the following
info, at:
http://home.alphalink.com.au/~dannj/temp/seozenv.htm
There are plenty of question marks in the table, but specifically
I'd like to know the age of the Boola Boola forest and Devil's Kitchen plant
fossil localities (something a bit more exact than "Early Cretaceous"). Mary
White's "Greening of Gondwana" puts them
(and Koonwarra) at 125 MYA, although Koonwarra has since been
dated to 115-118 MYA and I doubt how up to date "Greening" is
(any new editions since 1993?). The same goes for the Merino formation
(of Chelycarapookus fame). Any refs would also be useful, or any obvious
omissions.
Ever optimistic, I thank you in advance.
