Didn't R McNeill Alexander point out that the plane of motion in the
hip/tail joint of theropods directly conflicted with the plane of motion in
said feature/s of kangaroos - thus making a hopping theropod highly
improbable to start with?  Not to mention the ossified tendons in the caudal
vertebrae of many genera of theropods.
