Whoa, Flashback 1988!!
This "attenuated version" of Dinogeorge's hypothesis is in fact Greg Paul's
hypothesis from "Predatory Dinosaurs of the World"! (And was the
inspiration for George's own expanded version...).
In recent conferences Greg Paul has been elaborating on this concept,
updating it with the new Chinese discoveries.
