I can handle this one:

The Dinosauricon's server was sporadically failing all summer long, and
finally died during August. I've received a new computer to use as server,
but am waiting until the new version of the site is finished before I
resurrect it.

Ultimately, there will be two versions of the Dinosauricon: a simple
(low-bandwidth) version for people with slow connections and a more
graphically pleasing (high-bandwidth) version for those with better
connections and browsers. Both versions will contain the same content.

I am estimating that the new low-bandwidth version will be completed
sometime next month. The high-bandwidth version will follow a few months
after that.

New features in the low-bandwidth version will include citations for taxa,
silhouette images for all genera, more complete specimen listings, and a
F.A.Q.

I'll send an announcement to this list when the new site is ready. I also
have a mailing list for Dinosauricon announcements (usually about one per
month). To subscribe, send an e-letter to <server@cola.qis.net> with this
in the body of the message:

join dinosaur-pages

The site's URL will be <http://dinosaur.umbc.edu/>.
