Dinosaur nomenclator bios
A few days ago, I wrote asking for information about those who named the dinosaurs for a Latin-Greek lexicon I'm working on [this would be in my "sauro-, -saurus" section]. I had three responses from helpful members of this list who gave me links to pursue (which I have done) and some of the full names (first, middle, last) of those who named the dinosaurs.
I'm still looking for several other names which I hope will not only include the first, middle, and last names; but also the countries they represent and their "occupations". Here is an example of what I hope to find whenever possible:
Named by U. S. paleontologist Henry Fairfield Osborn in 1924.
or
Named by British paleontologist Harry Govier Seeley (1839-1909) in 1891.
If you want to see what I'm doing, please check out <http://www.words4modernage.com> and when you arrive there, scroll DOWN the page to the "SPECIAL DINOSAUR LISTS" where you will find the alphabetical dinosaurs sections. If you see any errors or can provide any information to fill in the blanks, I would appreciate it VERY much! Also, if you know an Internet site that has this information, please let me know and I'll happily look them up there.
A few of the names that I'm still looking for include the following, but they are only a part of the list of names that I'm seeking. Other missing elements and those that I have found (or were sent to me) may be seen at <http://www.words4modernage.com>.
