  One of the best books on dinosaur osteology is
_Dinosauria_ , edited by Weishampel, Dodson, and
Osmolska, with a section on every group of dinosaurs
(excluding modern or paleobirds). Alternatively, more
thourough and exacting osteology monographs are
accessable in major universities or musea as papers in
paleo journals, including the work Coombs, Tatarinov,
and Maryanska did on ankylosaurs, Galton did on
"hypsilophodonts," pachycephalosaurs, and stegosaurs,
Gilmore did on *Allosaurus*, Currie and Zheng did on
*Sinraptor* (not a monograph, but hey!) and current
work underway to expand our knowledge of dromaeosaur
osteology, given newer, more complete specimens, work
being done not only by the Sihetun folks (more Xu et
al.'s...) but also by the extraordinary MAE [MAS/AMNH]
group in Mongolia, also on troodontids, work which was
expanded by Currie and Russell throughout the 80s and
published mainly in the _Canadian Journal of Earth
Sciences_, which as I understand it is a fairly
accesible journal; Sereno and others have done work on
osteologies for *Lagosuchus*, *Marasuchus*,
*Lagerpeton*, and *Lesothosaurus*/*Fabrosaurus*
especially Novas' and Sereno's work on
*Herrerasaurus*.

  What I mean to say is don't just look for _books_,
but the papers will sometimes give you the best info,
and better illustrations (even photos) to boot.
Gilmore's 1916 mono on *Allo* and *Cerato* are still
top of the line, and also there's also B. Britt's
_BYUGS_ mono on *Torvosaurus*, which I find highly
helpful and hope to get the skull recon. I did firmly
online.
