I have some very sad news. For any of you who knew him, Ali
Tahiri
died late last week. He was in a car in the Atlas Mts. of Morocco when it happened. Ali lived in Erfoud, and collected all types of fossil materials, including trilobites and dinosaur materials. He donated a great many of these pieces to museums and universities. He leaves behind a very large and loving family, including some children, and his brother Brahim. He was a very generous man, as most Moroccans tend to be, and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him. Goodbye, Ali. |
