If you recall, he asked for the answer in psi, so that's how I gave it to him.
If you had asked for it in SI units, I'd have used SI. Personally, I think one
should be comfortable in either system.

P.S. Since I'm a consultant in the U.S., I'd soon starve from lack of work if
the "incomprehensible junk" weren't reasonably comprehensible. I'm also an
engineer by profession rather than a scientist, so I can't speak as a
scientist. Why do the units of the answer matter?
