Considering all available evidence prior to 1998, this was definitely a 
supportable viewpoint and in my opinion the best viewpoint. Now that we have 
more segnosaur material and corrections/revisions of earlier data, the 
prosauropod ancestry of segnosaurs seems far less likely than a theropod 
ancestry.
