Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television
programming concerning dinosaurs, extinct and extant,
other prehistoric animals and evolution, from high art
to low trash and (hopefully) back again, all times
Eastern (check local listings to confirm):

Monday, September 6

Discovery Channel, 9:00pm (rebroadcast midnight, and
6:00pm Saturday)
Sci-Trek
"Dinosaur Attack!"
We thought we could hold the line until they started
up with the dino-howitzers. Theories about a possible
attack by a theropod on a sauropod, based on fossil
footprints.

TRAVEL Channel, 9:00pm (rebroadcast midnight)
The Trailblazers
"Mongolia"
Includes a look at dinosaur eggs discovered there.

Tuesday, September 7

PBS, 8:00pm (time and day may vary)
The Life of Birds by David Attenborough
"Finding Partners"
Mating.

Actual question I was asked by a college graduate:
"So, which kind of bird evolved from Brontosaurus?"

===
Larry

"I've been ionized, but I'm okay now."
