RE: Majungatholus

I know this was the word on M., but has its close
relationship with Carnotaurus been *established* yet?
Is it even definitely an abelisaurid? Last I recall,
from the paper in (um, NATURE?), it was not. But I
may (dramatic music) be mistaken.

Of course, if it *is* closely related to C., that's a
fun geological fact, innit?

So: Any news?

Check out Sereno's latest phylogenetic effort in Science a few months ago.
There are a buttload (well at least greater than 0.5 buttload) of characters
linking Majungatholus with Carnotaurus and no characters (AFAIK) to suggest
they ain't. The clade has been named the Carnotaurinae.
