Hi all.  A writer I know is looking for info. about the elephant bird  -  an 
extinct species of flightless bird, quite like the moa of New Zealand, that 
lived on the African Island of Madagascar  until it disappeared in or about 
the 10th century.  If anyone is familiar with this bird, please e-mail Lynne
