Paleo degree proocedure?

I don't know if anyone will be willing to help me, but I was just 
wondering what
the best way to get a degree in Paleontology would be.  Right now I'm an 
undergraduate
studying for a Bachelor's degree in Geology.  I've been told by a few 
grad. students my best bet
would be to get a bachelor's in Geology, then a Master's in Biology, 
then
get a Ph.D in paleontology.  I was just wondering if any of the 
professionals on
the list would agree, and if they'd disagree, what procedure would be 
better
and don't try talking me out of it, I have my mind made up.  If any 
Grad. students have any ideas
I'm open to them as well.  Please reply off list
