Movie Fan question (again)

A friend asked for help in identifying this movie:

"The movie started and ended with two people throwing a bottle into the
sea, and I know it had dinosaurs in it. Any idea which movie it is?"

The fellow saw it at a drive-in as a kid... so that's about 15 years
ago, I think.

Anyone have any ideas?
