RE: FEATHERS ON SQUID
One is forced to wonder; how could one persuade an Architeuthis dux to run
on a treadmill? And if so, would he (or she) develop secondary endothermic
traits?
And wouldn't a derived endothermic giant squid pose more of a risk in terms
of gun
Toting? After all, they have eight tentacles. And would an endothermic,
gun toting giant squid (in fact) be parsimonious? :-)
On a more dinosaurian note: I just received my copy of the paper byBrian
Curtice
Regarding the downgrading of Ultrasauros macintoshi to a junior synonym of
Supersaurus vivianae. It's from The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
Excellent paper.

Hmmmmm not trying to sound like a bitch, but where the hell are you
getting
ontogenetic data for _Architeuthis_?
