There's a butterfly with its name. Now, this should be interesting. 
Butterflies about in a great, vasta array of forms and names, and I find 
it hard to belive, but some of those names could be redundant 
themselves. *Rahona* (the butterfly) could be synonymous with another 
butterfly, making the name available to science. I'm not sure what the 
rules are on this, though.

<True - but the paleontologists I know fail to apply the reverse, by
understanding Feduccia before attacking his ideas. He may be wrong; be I 
see a lot of emotional antagonsim toward Feduccia.>

I see this too. First, his theory is so different from the 
paleontological viewpoint that there is an immediate hesitation 
concerning it. But he _is_ an ornithologist. Like Martin, like Chiappe. 
He has his expertise. The same form of antagonism has been shown with 
Chatterjee and Bakker, and again, they have their expertise, Chatterjee 
in Triassic Texans and Bakker in Morrison dinos.

It has been stated on this list that various people (those named and 
several on this list) have their expertise, and should be recognized for 
this. Including Dr. Alan Feduccia.
