Re: Three new dinosaur species. And comments/questions about them.
<1) What has ever been found of Rahona ostromi? I saw a photo of its
foot, but nothing more. Is the foot the only thing that has been found?
If so, the foot is as little birdlike as any Dromaeosaurid foot!>
vertebrae:
Posterior cervical; two articulated anterior dorsals, and two
articulated posterior dorsals that articulate with the sacrum; five (?)
sacrals; very dromaeosaurid tail, a caudal series that is over 50%
complete, perhaps from the first caudal.
girdles:
left scapula; left ilium and ischium, right pubis.
limbs:
ulna and radius; left femur and tibia; a metatarsal; hallugeal digit (pd
I) with recurved ungual; second digit with both phalanges and long
ungual +1/4 the length of the phalanges, longer than 50% of
metacarpal---which is 1/2 length of tibia; very long first phalanx of
digit III.
