Re: Segnosaurs

<<*Therizinosaurus* from a huge set of claws, vertebrae, parts of tyhe
hindlimb, and ribs, with referred forelimb, giving us an unfortunately
incomplete picture of the thing>>

<I though _Therizinosaurus was known only from prectoral gridle,
forelimb, and hand material, with the legs being questionably referred?>

Funny thing is, that's refered material. The type are claws and
phalanges, with flattened ribs and some vertebral fragments that were
considered a sauropod's, yet *Alxasaurus* and *Segnosaurus* both have
sauropod-style flat ribs, so guess what.... The holotype also has a foot
that is of segnosaurian form (Russell and Russell, 1993) and then
there's the refered material of more claws, vertebrae, and a hindlimb
from the Khereem Tsav, with claws from Kazakstan.

<<The *Velociraptor* are still ten feet long and the size of
*Deinonychus*>>

<They were considerably larger then _Deinonychus_; _Deinonychus_ isn't
all that big.>

Then *Utahraptor,* the size of a pony.
