In this area, there is a set of twelve brontosaur trackways intermingled
with three carnosaur trackways, where it is clear that the latter were made
shortly after the former. In Tracking Dinosaurs, M. Lockley suggests that
the sequence indicates a possible "stalking" of the brontosaurs. He
dismisses the theory that the trackways demonstrate evidence of an actual
attack as "fanciful".
