Rinchenia [2] (was Euoplocephalus question)

Funny thing. *Rinchenia* Barsbold, 1986 is differentiated from
*Oviraptor* Osborn 1924 by inclusion of the parietal bones in the
posterior of the crest, which is quite high, and the fact that they form
a true saggital crest, in lieu of a flat region between the
supratemproal fenestra, as in *Oviraptor*. The original specimen's crest
is crushed, so the shape of the crest may not be as illustrated (I
believe it to be a little lower, by about a 1/4). Also, the ilium is
convexly curved along its dorsal surface, while *Oviraptor's* is strait
anteroposteriorly or concavely curved. I've got more going, and when I
can finalize the data I've collected so far, you _all_ will be informed
(though I am an amateur).
