I don't know if the tail was curled down around the feet or back behind the
body but, as far as body parts curling, consider that this may have been a
post-mortem action. I am by no means an expert in this area and am sure to be
corrected, but I do know that if an organism is left to the elements, muscles
and ligaments in the necks of dino's etc will dry/tighten and cause them to
pull back sharply towards the back before burial. Could this be the case with
curled tails, or would the tail simply have to be very flexible in life to
permit such movement between vertebra?
