It might be a synonym, if I didn't get the terms confused or make up the 
one. Must be another state of confusion I was in. :) I believe the 
thought behind the term was "new birds" or "true birds", which I 
believed was marked as Euaves _or_ Neornithes, but I meant the clade 
that includes all modern birds and excludes all extinct forms such as 
the ones I listed above.
