Knowing Greg's precision, I'd take his measure for quite reliable. However,
one mustn't forget that the range of an adult animal can vary greatly. For
Loxodonta (African elaphant) the range of weight for adult animal goes from
under 1.5 to over 7 tonnes (different subspecies, gender and individuals).
Maximum weight of a rhino (white) is about 3 tonnes.
