Proper terminology
I am gearing up for my dinosaur workshop next month (to be part of a
science fair for 1st and 2nd graders) and I am hoping to keep things fun
and educational. Here is my problem... I wish to refer to certain
non-avian dinosaurs as either "humungus" or "humongus," but I don't know
which is the preferred term. People seem to use the two adjectives
interchangeably, but I suspect that one of these terms is considered to be
more proper, and the remaining word might then be either a colloquial
variation or erroneous.

I promise not to use the term "buttload."
