It was probably an omnivore but recent evidence of Velociraptor juvenile
remains in a nest of Oviraptor maybe clear signal that it was a carnivore
and that the Velociraptor was food captured for its own hatchlings.
Why it did have that beak with those little two peg teeth on the palate is
still a mystery. Speculation runs wild from nutcracker to mollusc eater,
with any kind of imaginable food in the middle.
