Thanks very much for the illuminating info. Of course it is important 
to use correct terminology and all that, but just being a computer 
scientist who has been a rather serious dino-nut for as long as he 
can remember it's not that natural to me.

Of course mostly lurking on this list and getting my hands on 
my own copy of Glut's encyclopedia helped a lot in "getting to feel 
more comfortable" with this. And I hope that the other two books I 
ordered recently from Amazon will do the same: Encyclopedia of 
Dinosaurs and The Complete Dinosaur, if I remember the titles 
correctly.

(A side not to this all topic: Would you also happen to know if the 
lack of serrations is involved as a character here or not?)
