I don't think there would be a tremendous amount of seismic
activity at the antipode -- S-waves can't travel through liquid, such as
the outer core, and thus aren't transmitted _at_all_, and P-waves are
refracted through the differing densities of various layers in the mantle
and outer and inner cores, leaving few to propigate directly to the
antipode.
