Well put.
Incidentally, I don't think we need go any further with this. We have
debated, ad nauseum, the characteristics of phylogenetic taxonomy not five
months ago. Anybody who really cares can go back and check the archives.
This all began from a misunderstanding as to what Dr. Sues said at the
conference. This need not be an excuse to get into another long digression
on taxonomic conventions. Do we really need to waste bandwidth with it again?
True, there aren't any other rabid debates going on the list at the moment,
but I for one think that that is a GOOD thing...
Dinosaurs, anyone?
