Method of Death: Re: Pack o' predators



While we can all be fairly certain that lethal injection was uncommon in
the Jurassic (no hypodermics or gurneys (with wheels, not Jim) found as
yet), what constitutes "sufficient" paleontological proof of "cause of
death?"

Many (heated) arguments appear to lack anything resembling forensic data
for what sent the specimen to the happy hunting grounds. 

Is such evidence common? rare? non-existant?

What sort of evidence would be found?  cracked skull? hardened arteries?
