This story was particularly emblematic of the hysteria to reach 
personally satisfying conclusions based on little or no evidence, not to 
mention the desire to create controversy where there is none.

(The story made literal the conflict going on in the popular media 
between Giganotosaurus and Tyrannosaurus -- now they are actually facing 
off dino a dino! "You're goin' DOWN, T. rex!")

Nonetheless, we do learn of this great new Giganotosaurus find, so not a 
total loss.
