Well, I couldn't have said it any better than Jaemei's last post
or Chris's reply for that matter.  So I wont really go into responding to
Larry's last argument to my post, in attempts to not repeat what has already
been said and drag in on any further.

I would like to add that while generalizing may serve as a basis for a
sensible hypothesis. Likeliness does not disprove anything, there are always
exceptions to the rules,  especially when you are referring to general
Mammalian rules to build a hypothesis for an extinct animal.
Im not saying 
that we should throw out the likelihood of them not being packhunters based on
a few rare occurrences. 
Im only saying that based on all that has been discussed in this thread there
is no reason to throw out either hypothesis. 
Like I said I couldn't say better than Jaemei
