This is my point exactly. Cursorial, ground-dwelling theropods could not just
strap on wings and fly, either, especially with those puny forelimbs. Powered
flight >must< have evolved through a series of incremental improvements to
earlier, more primitive kinds of flying, unless you believe in miracles.
