They have a very diff body plan from bears of course, but that doesn't
necessarily stop them being fishers. I think bears do sometimes stand up
to fish.

The differences don't necessarilly mean it didn't fish, they may just
reflect the fact that _B_ almost certainly didn't cruise about on or near
the surface. (As you may have hinted at later.)

Some, eg Steve Hutt, point out that the fish scales are lying around, on
near and maybe apparently within the body area, and this may mean "meal" or
it could also mean it just died in the water along with all the fish.
