Alas, this post is a clear exemplar of the degeneracy of scientific
thinking:

Consider the proposed syllogism:

Smoking tobacco = Chewing tobacco
ergo
Jaw Cancer = Lung Cancer
Thus
Gary Larson = Genius
Everybody Else = Plagarist

Albeit that Mr. Larson is a brilliant and funny guy, it is rather like
saying that since Isaac Newton was hit on the head by an apple, Johnny
Appleseed never planted a tree.

No wonder Americans were 13th in the world on Science Tests.

Not to mention the three poor scientists whose stunning field work was
minimized by claiming that Gary Larson who never snuck into a
paleontological dig at night carrying a flashlight did it all first!
Where is Larson's evidence?
