mammal hair

I know of two more cases of preserved mammal hair:  the amnh has preserved
mammoth hair from alaska.  recently fossilized cave bear hair (_Ursus 
spelaeus_) was found in the cave Divje Babe I in Slovenia.  That hair
dates to about 50-55 ka.
