The research by Scott, Darren, and their colleagues on ceratopians is
arguably the most important work done with the group since Lull's
supplementary monograph in 1933. The idea that pachyrhinosaurine ceratopians
developed their diagnostic generic characters only after attaining adult size
represents a true quantum leap in our understanding.
