It is also a brand of Chinese beer, but I think the town is the likelier
derivation...

Anyway, I gather the Chinese pronunciation of "Tsintao" is something like
"Chin-dau", the "dau" part rhyming with "how".  So should we say
"Chindausaurus" or pretent that "Tsintao" is a Greek word and pronounce it
as written?
