        Got Lockley/Hunt's recent book to read. They agree with the 
pterosaur interpretation of Pteraichnus, and dispute the "swimming" 
sauropods. The sauropod "swimming" traces are probably, according to 
their book, the remains of undertracks from the forelimbs, and are NOT 
true tracks. The forelimbs, which have a bit of weight but not much 
surface area on the soles, press down farther into the sediment, leaving 
undertracks, while the hindlimbs, with their big elephantine feet, either 
leave no undertracks or very faint undertracks. Very interesting. Long 
live Pteraichnus the Pterosaur!
