The Field Museum is the greatest museum I have ever had the pleasure of
visiting. It has a superlative paleo exhibit along with a magnificent
Brachiosaurus mount. The rest of the museum is just as incredible.
I have visited nearly all of the museums in the Chicago area and no other
has paleo exhibits of much note. You can easily spend days in the Field
Museum though.
I hope you get the chance to see it. It is very easy to find -- it's
located off of Lakeshore Drive,( I think that's the street name), across
from the Shed Aquarium, the planetarium and the Bears football stadium. You
might want to get there around opening time if you are going on a weekend
because parking can sometimes be difficult.
Good Luck,
