Please remember refutation is different from ridicule and despite the 
Palaeontological qualifications of H&W their contributions to the field of 
science merits 
a little more respect. Can those of you doing the ridicule claim the 
same? Furthur, having done some reading on the subject of Archie myself 
(which includes the book under discussion) I find a lot of the 
"knowledgable" comments on a fossil that in fact has very few "birdlike" 
characters - can anyone give me a good definition of a bird by the way -
indicate a perhaps not so good grasp of the relevant literature.
I have never liked witch hunts, especially in my own field!
