Fwd: Colbert & Ostrom Talk

On Friday, February 2 at 3:00 pm, Edwin Colbert will be speaking at the
Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University. His talk is entitled
"The Little Dinosaurs of Ghost Ranch". As most of you know, Dr. Colbert is
the Honorary Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Museum of
Northern Arizona, Flagstaff, Curator Emeritus of Fossils, Reptiles, and
Amphibians at the American Museum of Natural History, and Professor
Emeritus of Vertebrate Paleontology at Columbia University.
Following the lecture, Yale Professor Emeritus John Ostrom, former
student of Dr. Colbert, will lead an informal discussion with his mentor
about the vast changes in the field of paleontology during their long
careers.

The lecture is free with museum admission ($5.00 for adults, $3.00 for
children under 15 and senior citizens). The museum is located at 170
Whitney Avenue at Sachem Street in New Haven, Connecticut. For recorded
museum information and directions, call (203) 432-5050.
