Since I've gotten several e-mails about this, I'm also posting this to
the list.
I maintain The Dinosaur Mailing List Encyclopaedia at
http://www.infinet.com/~jpoling/
This virtual encyclopaedia includes the following volumes:
Volume I, Dictionary: Important palentological terms defined, maintained
by myself.
Volume II, Dinosaur Genera List: A listing of all genera assigned to the
Dinosauria, maintained by George Olshevsky and available on two other sites.
Volume III, "Type" Definitions: Definitions of the "type" terms used in
paleontology, originally posted to the list by George Olshevsky.
Volume IV, Geologic Ages of the Mesozoic: A listing of all the
geological time periods during the age of the Dinosaurs, created by myself.
Volume V, Geologic Ages of Earth History: A listing off all the
geological time periods from the beginning to present, created by myself.
Soon, if Michael Sternberg was able to work some magic, I hope to add a
sixth volume that lists the english translations of all the Dinosaur genera.
FYI, this "Dinosaur Mailing List Encyclopaedia" is not sanctioned by the
Dinosaur Mailing List. I simply have created it on the List's behalf,
whether they like it or not. Perhaps its time to talk about an official
sanction.....
