"Saurian" -- hmmm... I like that and am willing to give it a try when
appropriate. But I have to admit I'm unlikely to use this in general.
For most folks (including myself) "dinosaur" conveys *exactly* the
subject matter of the silverware. From your email, I gather that the
world at large uses the word dinosaur incorrectly. But clearly the word
now has two meanings -- the "accurate" scientific one and the more
generally used "mistaken" one. I guess I don't consider folks to be
misusing the word dinosaur since most of them agree with each other on
what it means.
