I may have misunderstood him, but he seemd to be saying his mail system
didn't support block deletes, which is what most of us use.  Individually
deleting *each* *character* would indeed be a quite tedious, and time
consuming.

If I am right about this, I suggest he get a new e-mail system!

I tend to do this, but I am inconsistant about it.
