Another volcanic fossil was a North American rhino cast in an ashfall 
somewhere in the west and of course the huge herds of dinos killed by 
ashfalls in several places in the Westr US. I guess fossils are either 
embedded in ash falls or lava flows or they are in sediments derived from 
volcanics.IMHO
