Re: Hagerman Fossil Beds

The Hagerman Fossil Beds are stream-channel sandstones that are Pliocene
age.
Although the National Monument is a little out of the way, and the visitor
center is modest, it is definately worth a trip.  They even have a
PAID paleontologist working there! (yes, he actually gets money for being
one).
