I'm definately proof of that.  Before JP: no intrest.  After JP: 15 
books, fossil reproductions, models, two copies of JP (one letterbox), 
subscribe to and read daily this listserve and the usenet group, just 
sent of my money order to join The Dinosaur Society, been to three 
museums (Denver, Toronto, and San Francisco) just to see Dinos.  Now I'm 
getting my nephews into them too.  Film fiction can be replaced by desire 
and science fact.
