RE: Models + Dinosaur Society
There are some great models out there. The Japanese company Kaiyodo has a
beautiful line of 1/20th scale dinos. I usually buy through Monstrosities @
1-516-378-1338. There is about a dozen or so in that scale and are made of
vinyl. They are either as kits or built-ups and range in price from $35 to
$160. The Dinosaur Society had some of them in last catalogue. I recall a
post that mentioned a new catalogue to be released soon, but I haven't seen
it. Tamiya of Japan has a nice series of 1/35th dinos as kits and can be
ordered from most quality hobby shops. I saw them last week at the National
Museum of Natural History. Please stay tuned to the list. I am trying to
produce a WWW page on Dinosaur Art and Modeling. I'll try to include
resources for dino models as they are revealed. I did notice a newsletter
mentioned in the current issue of Earth Magazine. I didn't buy the issue
then and now I can't find it. If anyone has a copy, I would appreciate the
name and address of the people to contact. It was in the back commercial
advertising section of the magazine. Thanks for the help on that.

I have been trying to find some decent dinosaur models that look good and
that are scientifically accurate[I don't mean actual size]but,I haven't had
any luck.
Could you help?
Also,Does the Dinosaur Society have a web page?Is the society still there?I
mailed a letter[not e-mailed]to them and I have been waiting since January.
Thanks,
Matthew Garman.
