New Polacanthus specimen identified

This may be old news to UK readers, but I thought given the current
discussion of these animals people might find this of interest.
A new specimen of Polacanthus has been identified among fossils
displayed at the Horsham Museum, Sussex, the fossils were originaly found in
1985 and were provisionaly identified as belonging to an Iguanodon, but
thanks to the dedication of a museum volunteer worker named Mrs Standing
they were finaly identified by Polacanthus expert William Blows as belonging
to a Polacanthus. It is currently thought that the fossils may represent a
new species and belonged to an individual about twenty feet in length. The
remains are currently being examined but will be returned to the Horsham
Museum for permanent display.

        Regards to all
